Peeling off the bitumen coating layer from the surface of aggregates of a road is called stripping. the failure of this bond that is generally due the deficient coating thickness. in this video we are trying to understanding the effect of grading on bitumen/ asphalt coating thickness in bituminous concrete having thickness of 30-40 mm as wearing course.
