With increase on mining restrictions, ever increasing labour and fuel costs, roads construction and their maintenance is becoming a costly affair day by day. Increased fuel price causes overloading that makes roads more vulnerable. properly designed roads anticipating some percentage of overloading perform well and are economical in long term as their cost of maintenance and rehabilitation is also low.
